We bought a box yesterday, but can not read the signature. How can we understand the artist?
It is more than 60 years. The wood is original, and wax in the back is peeling. It's oil that was treated. The three centers are supported in place to make the canvas. This is a scene in the Adriatic, but the name is S (ORD) Andria (?) — The TTI. This is not the famous painter of the 1500s, but could be one of the 1900s. Any ideas? Who is the artist?
Most closest I could find is, Giulio Severino Bellotti (1900 – 1964) Italy. Without seeing the actual signature that will be almost impossible to identify the artist.
