Google SketchUp face AutoCAD?
I have some basic questions about SketchUp and AutoCAD. I am totally new 3D software and intends register for a course in AutoCAD before finding SketchUp has found a home training with free tutorials could give me some good cons before going to the most advanced. My question is: Is it possible to transfer without problems (bugs, etc), a 3D AutoCAD file and continue working in SketchUp to AutoCAD, or vice versa? What would be the best way for someone like me (who knows almost nothing) to get started? … and what are the best figures to start drawing for someone looking to reach equipment design electrical, mainly heavy? Thank you very much.
Yes You Can I do this all the time. However, SketchUp is not very good for the exact wording. I prefer to do in Auto CAD in 3D and then import into SketchUp and continue working there. Focus on Auto CAD. bcos in his line of work, accuracy is important. The team electricity can not be guess work. Yes, 2D drawings for your product, and then made into 3D by extrusion and Boolean. Once you've finished with it, take it SketchUp (trak which is normally in 3ds max) and its presentation here. architect.but'm certainly I think our lines are very different in the sense of writing. see and PS. There are some potential problems when importing from SketchUp to AutoCAD. I wouldnt call it mistakes, but still its not always very comfortable with where Ur is a large file size. the same for all programs thats compatible with Auto CAD
